This is just a little blog to update all the concerned folks who love Mark and want him to get well soon! Hopefully he will be back to work and hunting big game again before you know it!

As of late Sunday night this is what Stephanie has to say about Mark's situation:
"The prayers are working. Mark was breathing on his own for many hours today. He is getting stronger and his lungs are functioning. He is still unconcious but His kidneys are begining to function. It is just going to take time. we are very optimistic, he may be off the vent in a few days. We are surrounded by people that love us. Please pass this along to any of our
friends and family. We love and cherish each of you."

Thanks for your love and prayers,

Mark's family

Your are an awesome, strong lady! We will continue to pray for you and your family. We have the wheels running here at Confluent and will continue to burn them strong! Bring him home! We love you!

I think that this is a great idea! I know how hard it must be for everyone to keep all those that are interested up-to-date and informed. Everyone here at WKCTC keeps asking me how he is doing and what the news is as well as everyone from our church. People are concerned for all those involved that love Mark because they love each of us.

Love,

Christina

Stephanie & Mark - We are praying for you both daily and know that you will bring him home soon!! Clayson had a great day at school today, the boys are icing Halloween cookies as I am writing. We will all take care of Clayson, we all love him as if he was our own. Take care of yourself and Mark and know that we are all here for you both!

Dear family and friends,
Included is the latest update as of Monday,October 15th; 4pm. Everything is going the way it should. He is still in critical condition however is stablizing. The next step will be to remove the ventelator.
I am especially grateful for the many many friends/family who are extending their time, energy, love and effort to comfort and protect Clayson in our absence.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. I am confident we will prevail.
Words cannot describe our love for all of you.
We hope Darrin arrived home safely. Larry is in route to Sikeston and should be him tonight. Please take care of them; they are truly angels who walk among us.
Love,
Stephanie

Stephanie: You are consuming my thoughts since Bro. Bithell's 10 pm call Thursday, and that is as it should be...I opened my scriptures to find myself in Joshua, 1st chapter. Comforting words of our Savior to Joshua just before he was going to do the impossible & overtake land from his enemies. It seemed to fit what you & Mark are facing...be of good cheer and courageous. When Mark is able to fully comprehend, read the top line of verse 6, then all of verses 7 through 9. It can be his mantra as he mends. Please know that I stand ready to serve you and your family in whatever way you deem needed, my young sister.

Steph-

Apparently I'm the only blonde friend of yours too dumb to use the comment section of the blog. Here goes....

We are thinking and praying for you all constantly. You know that we would do anything in the world for you all.

What we want most of all is to be with you right now. We are trying to be reasonable and go to see you in shifts. However, we want to charter a plane (loaded with all of your friends) and head your way.

We were so happy to hear Karen is headed your way today. We are all fighting over who gets to go be with you first. You would think since I'm the biggest I'd be able to take them, but that Stephanie G is tougher than she looks. If I win, I'll see you next week and if she wins, I guess I'll see you the following week.

I saw Clayson today. He's doing so well. He called Maggie a dinosaur butt-Ha Ha I asked him what his new animal was going to eat and he said "worms...it lives under the ground.. what else would it eat?" He ran off giggling like a girl.

GiGi sends her love. Tell Mark she has him on every prayer line (every denomination-some I've never even heard of before). We know the power of prayer.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love you guys,
the ebys
