Almost over the Hump day (Wed)

Mark has remained fairly stable throughout the day. He still seems to have his days and nights confused. He rested most all morning and began to come to life mid afternoon. As Stephanie G. was leaving and Anita Eby stepped in he began to work harder than ever to wake up and show us what he could do. His blood pressure became elevated and the nurse had to bump up his sedative. Then he bounced back and forth between states of restfulness and activity.

One of his surgeons visited and complimented the incredibly good job Dr. McCarval (the Canadian surgeon) did. The doctors would like to see more consistent responses but are still hopeful that will come.

Please pray he will have a restful evening and be able to have the ventilator removed tomorrow.

Mark's parents will be coming up after they take Clayson to school in the morning and I am going to try to run home for the night and return Friday morning. Thank you all the the cards, emails, voicemails, flowers, food and most importantly prayers.

Love you,
Stephanie
