Sunday Morning

Happy to report Mark is looking so much better this morning. We left him late last night in the hands of a nurse named Amanda. She has cared for him for three nights and is getting quite comfortable with his tricks. You can tell he likes the nurses and is trying to follow their commands. She did not have to increase his sedation through the night although he did experience a low grade fever. Mark is becoming very expressive he has us laughing at his silly faces.

The plan for today is to allow him to try to sit up a little and wean his oxygen. Will do my best to update throughout the day. I want you all to know you guys are getting us through this the support of friends and family continues to be overwhelming. Thank you all for the comfort we are able to feel. Let's pray for him to more consistently follow commands and complete recovery.

Love,
Stephanie
