Sunday Fun Day!

Wow, we have had an incredible day. Mark is beginning to show many signs of improvement. He kissed me!!! I mean it, he puckered up his lips and looked into my eyes and kissed me. I was so awesome it made my foot pop off the floor. We are so blessed. He is turning the corner.

My concern is that in true Mark Anderson form he is now devising a plan to escape. Sarah has advised me to take the car keys and hide the cash. I think getting to see Justin and Steven was very therapeutic and while they were here he mouthed, "I'm going to be O.K.". I know it's not a coincidence that this wonderful day is Sunday. Prayer is bringing him through.

Love,
Stephanie

Stephanie,

This entry brought tears to my eyes!!! A foot-popping kiss!! That's wonderful. Not many men can pull that off when they're 100% - you truly have a super hero husband there.

I can't wait for the time I get a call to help you with something. I've felt useless, but know that the day will come. You know that Darby & I love you & Mark & all the boys. We're praying for you daily and can't wait to see all of your smiling faces very soon.

Much love,
Samantha Jarrett

Stephanie,

Tears have welled up in my eyes reading your latest post. You and Mark and all the boys have been in so many of our thoughts and our prayers. All three of the kids remind each other to remember "Brother Mark" in the family prayer and in their personal prayers each night. What a blessing today has been for your family.
Please know that we love you guys and wish we were closer to help.

love,
Jan Ellen, John, Caroline, Julia, Sterling, and sweet angel baby Kathryn Sanders

ps Tell Mark he still owes me a steak dinner from seminary!! I don't know if he even remembers the challenge of reading the Old Testament from front to back . . . I did it in the given time! :)

Stephanie,
I do not think that we have met but my name is Laura Doom and Christina Anderson is my aunt. I have been keeping up with your blog and am thrilled to hear about the progress Mark is making. I have been praying for all of you and will continue to do so. Todays blog made me cry! I was hoping the boys would have a good visit and they DID!
I know that your kiss must have lifted more than your foot from the ground! What a wonderful gift!! Please tell Mark that I love him and will continue to pray for him.
Just so you know...I am in nursing school (RN) and will graduate in may. If you have any questions or need me to do some research for you please do not hesitate to ask.
Love to you all!!
Laura Jean

I cannot believe all of the progress reported in one day!

I went to visit Salwa this evening and read the blog before I left my house and shared with her about Mark sitting in a chair for 3 hours and she didn't believe me. She had to go and read it for herself. Now I come home from visiting her and checked it again and WOW! WOW! WOW! What a day!

Although I am very excited (as I am sure everyone else is) I must admit that I knew once the beloved, hard working, not wanting to sit around, Mark Anderson started understanding what was going on, that he would take leaps and bounds to recovery. That is just how I have always known Mark to be. We will all anxiously await new news tommorow.

What a happy day, Stephanie. Congratulations on the kiss. I'll bet it was the kiss of a lifetime! My arms are around you giving you a big hug of excitement and love.

still praying for and thinking of you all ~
